In a pivotal moment for Lebanon’s environmental and political landscape, the Green Party of Lebanon (GPL) has officially announced the results of its 2024 leadership elections. Held on September 14, 2024, these elections come amid challenging national circumstances, yet the party successfully conducted the process in full adherence to its internal regulations.
The newly elected Political Bureau represents a diverse, multidisciplinary team reflective of the GPL’s wide-ranging priorities—from climate advocacy to social policies, international relations, and youth engagement. The bureau is now headed by:
Fadi Abi Allam – President
Nizar Dandash – Vice President
Ziad Khaled – Central Secretary
Ghassan Deli Balta – Treasurer
The Bureau also includes officers responsible for critical areas such as climate change, legal affairs, media, education, expatriate relations, ecotourism, women’s issues, and renewable energy. Notable appointments include:
Mohammad Khawli – Climate Change Officer
Pauline Irani – Environmental Policies Officer
George Assaf – Health & Social Policies Officer
Vanda Ramia – Women’s Issues Officer

In parallel with the elections, the Party President submitted a list of nominees for the Arbitration Committee, whose formation was approved based on the Political Bureau’s meeting minutes dated 10/07/2024. The committee is composed of seven respected members:
